This past weekend we attended Jen’s sisters wedding, and Emma was the flowergirl. She did a good job, and was beautiful with her first “up” hairdo. Check out the footage and see for yourself!

Abby managed to take about 4 or 5 steps by herself today – unassisted, and totally by her own choosing! The fun starts soon!

Abby‘s been doing quite well lately. She’s starting to work on solid foods, and she’s now able to stand by herself. I have a feeling walking isn’t too far away…..

Abby’s now just over 2 weeks old, and going strong. At her 2 week check-up she was up to 9 lbs, 1 oz – a gain of more than 1 lb, 5 oz, considering she was 7 lb 12 oz when she came home from the hospital.

Abby is doing just fine, and settling nicely into her routine. Noah still seems a little leery of her, but is starting to warm up to her. Emma? She can’t get enough of her little sister.

One week after Abby was born, her umbilical cord fell off during her bath. Just thought you might want to know.

she slept 5 1/2 hours all by herself! we don’t expect that to happen a lot, but it was very nice!
